Since most stories about rape that I hear of are about females being raped, I will use this example - some people might think that girls who wear really tight clothing and short skirts "provoke" others, and "cause" them to be raped.
Is this true, at all? I think that people should be able to wear whatever they want, without having to worrying about people raping them. Just because someone wears what some people might say "provocative" clothing does not mean that one is calling to be raped.
Would wearing clothes that cover up the body more be able to prevent cases of rape, or does it have to do more with the rapist's mental state, and the want to use and humiliate another person?
