Maybe Im cool with it because my mom was really liberal with me. I was trusted until i gave her a reason not to.
she never went through my stuff, and like the one or two times she did-i didnt make a big deal about it. I had nothing to hide. I pretty much was allowed to go where ever i wanted, whenever i wanted...
Yet, because i had so much freedom, I didnt drink, I didnt smoke, I didnt have sex (well..not a lot of the latter
) I never snuck out because I never needed to. I always checked in whenever i was somewhere and I really had no reason to be bad. The only time i ever got grounded was when i brought home anything lower than a c. C was usually light grounding anything lower i was screwed. lol.
