It's scary to me and it worries me to know what some girls are doing to themselves. I understand completely where the recoverers are saying things firmly because it's personal to them. I honestly feel that I have no business talking about this because I know nothing about it. Sure, anyone who hasn't done it can do research, but what can you really learn from adults saying why kids cut themselves? Not very much. You know so much more when you lived it in reality. So no, I'm not the person you should be asking to give you advice. But I will say this: I understand if you use cutting as a painkiller, as you are numb to your body pain when all your emotion pain is swirling around your head. Don't get too used to it, though. You can't be 100% sure every time that you will miss a vein. And remember your family, or if they're the problem, remember people who care for you. Get your feelings out. You really don't have to go to a doctor or counselor that you can't afford. You can go to a school guidance counselor or a teahcer or adult you trust about your problems. They won't tell anyone, except someone to get help for you. And if I'm worried about you, and I don't know you, then imagine how people who care for you must feel.
