Bugs and Problems With The Forum Upgrade

PM's are working. We restored all your old PM's, therefore, a lot are reading as new, but they are in order...my PM's are working fine.

As for double/quad posts, there are some, but most are gone. When we get more staff back online, they'll clean up the worst spots.

Same with NR, as in I can't rearrange the threads. Seems to happen when you add a password.

This has nothing to do with the password, Robyn. (Which wouldn't make sense if it did), you don't have powers, that's probably why you can't re-arrange anything. But you're protected now, and we'll get to the problem.

Maybe the forum is set up to cut off threads that haven't been replied to in a number of days/months? There is an option at the bottom of forums to adjust that, if that's the case. And I just found that you can set it up in your control panel to have all forums show all threads by default. Quick Links>Edit Options, scroll to "Thread Display Options" and choose Show All Threads where it says "Default Age Cut Off"

When you say that you guys restored all our old PMs, does that include PMs that we deleted? Because I have all the PMs I have ever received and sent in my inbox. Which is way cool, so I'm not complaining.

The SO is visible.
The Xanga Scripts and tutorials are in order by post date, but they should be ordered aphabetically by default instead to make it easier for visitors to track down a certain script or tutorial.
And the following forums have the opposite problem:

I still don't know why most of the Tutorials Forum FAQ has been deleted. Is there a way to restore what was deleted? If not, let me know now so I can rewrite the whole thing -sigh-

Mic, my inbox/sent messages folders are really messed up. All the old "Sent" ones are in the inbox, and the old "inbox" ones are in the Sent Items place. I can't see who sent the PMs any more either, because they all have imported_NISHA LAMHEAD as the sender. The new PMs I'm sending seem to be working correctly, but the old ones are just really, really screwy.

Also, is there any way you can change my username to just NISHA LAMHEAD instead of imported_NISHA LAMHEAD?

I'm not sure if this was covered anywhere but I haven't logged in blogring for a while & i see you have new layouts.. new forums.. everything. i tried looking at the myspace and xanga layouts but it says that I don't have permission to access the forums or my account isn't allowed to access them.

Is there a way to fix that or am I supposed to be doing something in order to be able to view xanga/myspace layouts posted on blogring?

-edit: i just remembered I also can't view tutorials forums. I basically can't view anything on the top navigation bar so I'm only going on discussion forums
