I learned a few days ago, that my (high) school has Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I'm taking Web Design 1 next year for my freshman year and I also learned that the things that they learn are pretty easy.

Is there any graphics programs at your school? Do you take any classes at school? Are there any classes? Have you learned anything?

I don't know if my school has any programs, but they must since Im gonna be Taking Web Deisgn 1 next year to make my website.
Do you know what they learn in there. Im hoping to learn HTML and coding.

I think they learn graphics... html... but I'm not sure about anything else. I might get to learn how to use brushes and set opacities. As we all know, that is really hard.

I heard that the Web Publishing class at my school works with Fireworks and Flash, along with other programs. Probably some HTML?

In my Visual Communications class this week, we're all designing the front and back covers to our school daily planners. Then we send them off to the business classes, and they choose one. The winner wins $100! Since I'm in both a graphic class and business class, I should bribe everyone in my marketing class to pick mine haha. Nah, but that would be awesome if they picked mine.

Psh - there aren't ANY computer programs at my school, let alone graphics ones.



My school is a cheap, sucky school.

Not at my school, but there are at the high school, which I'm going to be entering next year. I'm not going to be taking any next year, but sophmore year I hope to take one of them. There's graphic design, but it has a prerequisite of image editing. I seriously do not want to take image editing, because I'll be bored to death in the class while everyone else learns the basics of photoshop and illustrator. After graphic design, there's also graphic design II or soemthing like that. Just the second level of it.

There are other technology classes, too, like multimedia and the second level of it, web design, intro to programming (which I'm going to be taking sometime, hopefully), Visual Basic, and a couple others.

I have web/graphic designing first block. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, etc. We learn basic HTML too. All that good stuff. (:

That's because the most "challenging" thing they do are tables and frames.

They have it in my school and i'm thinking abbouut taking it in Junior year as an art class. =] Because you need art credits.
