Discuss: text placement.

Does anyone else suffer from the lack of the ability when it comes to text placement? I seriously never know what to do with my text. Any basic tips?

I'm bad at math for two reasons: I'm not good with numbers.

I wish I had tips. Mine always comes out strange. I have a hard time. I think I play with the text more than I play with anything else.

Adding the text is probably the hardest part for me when I make graphics. I never know what font I should use and where I should place it.

I think fonts which are not that fancy work better.

Ugh, I need tips too.

How could you describe the colour blue to someone who is blind?

I'm not a graphic queen by any standard but what I tend to do is write out the text and then just play around with the font choosing one that I like and from there I work out where I want it and so on.

ugh, I suck at text. :\
I usually just go through fonts that I think might look good, but.. blah. Doesn't always come out too well. I mostly do the same thing as Nat.

I usually don't leave text since I always end up crowding up the canvas with too much things anyways. Just put the text where there's an empty spot to even out the graphic. Also, the style and font of the text is important too -- it should blend in with the graphic somewhat.
