Talking

basically this is a place for people to mention which HP book they liked best (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, or Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). Please also mention why, and not just "because the others aren't as interesting" or something like that! Have fun! Important: This post is for the books, not the movies.

I like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, because of the Sirius Black twist and because Hermione really comes through. She used to be this annoying know it all who was kind of a goody-goody, but shows her other side in this one.

Prisoner of Azkaban, definitely, although Goblet of Fire is up there, too. I really like PoA because of Sirius, Remus, and the whole Marauders backstory. Plus, there's some good Ron/Hermione in there.

In order from my most favorite to my least favorite, it would probably go like this:
-Prisoner of Azkaban
-Goblet of Fire
-Order of the Phoenix
-Chamber of Secrets
-Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone

"It takes a silly girl to lie about the dreams she has, but it takes a lonely one to wish that she had never dreamt at all."--Carve Your Heart Out Yourself, Dashboard Confessional

My Xanga - Yes, it's boring. Do I look like I care? Didn't think so.

I dont really have a favorite. I guess you could say that I like all of them.

A lovestruck Romeo, sings the streets a serenade. Laying everybody low, with a love song that he made.

my favorite book has to be goblet of fire because i really enjoyed the beginning where we got to see the world quidditch cup.. then when the triwizard tournament was announced i was excited as well because it was something that had never happened in the other books.. you also got to see the jealousy come out from hermione & ron when yule ball came along.. the ending didn't hit me at first.. cedric's death was so quick, but i the battle between harry & voldemort was great.. can't wait for the movie! i wish it would come out sooner.. ohhh and i hope they put the part where draco turns into a ferret.. that would be awesome

Rankings:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban- IMO, best plot, character development, nice twist ending
2. Order of Phoenix- a real page-turner, the most emotional of the 5 (so far)
3. Goblet of Fire- another good twist, some nice moments, but a lot of characters that I didn't care for
4 & 5. Sorceror's stone and Chamber of Secrets are equal to me- liked them in 6th grade, but harder to relate to when you're older.
