I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan -- I loved Sparkling Cyanide so much (especially when that was a read I had been waiting for for a very long time)

I also like John Grisham a lot. When I first read The Rainmaker I already knew that he had a great style of writing. He just has this way of capturing you in the story and his storylines are also impressive (just like Agatha Christie's).

Traci stole my vote.

Stephen King ftw. I also adore Christopher Pike. For some reason, I like reading about horror-related things, but I don't enjoy horror movies too much. I think it has something to do with using my imagination instead of watching it in front of me.

Alayna: I really like Christopher Pike, too, but I don't remember why I stopped reading his books last year.

Though they're in the "Teen" section, Patricia Wrede and Tamora Pierce. They're the reasons why I'm into Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Also, Robert Jordan and Terry Brooks!

Oh and Mary Higgins Clark!

She sounds familiar. I think my dad has some of her books in his collection.

One of my favorite authors is Amy Tan, because I can relate to her American-born-Chinese characters. I also like the imagry she makes by using creative similies and metaphors.

I also like Barbara Kingsolver, because I like the subjects and issues she writes about.
