What do you do between book releases in a series?

While I <strike>patiently</strike> wait for Harry Potter 7 to come out, I read fanfiction and check the fansites like Mugglenet and TLC daily. I've reread all of the books at least once since Half-Blood Prince came out and I analyze everything for foreshadowing of what may come. I even listen to Harry Potter podcasts :P

I was just wondering what other people do that may or may not be as obsessive as me.

These belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal.
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil.

I actually don't care about the wait. I always have lots of things to do so I forget about books coming out.

And, there are always tons of other books that catch my attention.

I'm waiting for a few books, actually.
I think I'm waiting for the Clique book, another A-List book, and that's it.
Haha, what cliche books, eh?
Oh wait, I'm wait for one of the seven deadly sins book to come out too.
All cliche. I guess I read cliche series. =P

i miss blogring.

I don't really mind the wait. Like Rachel said, I always have other stuff that's going on that diverts my attention away from the coming of the next book. And then when it's about to come out, I'm like, "Wow! Already?" lol

Waiting a year for each book would piss me off if I didn't have too much to keep me distracted.

Oh yeah. HP 7 seemed like it would take forever to come out. So, like you, I read zillions of fanfiction during the wait. (Which makes me obsessive too :])

It's surprising when some stories are surprisngly similar to the actual book. And I really respect those who manage to turn the stories into amazing perspectives. Like, I'm such a Dramione fan. I love how Draco's characterization can be. But that's just me :]
