Beating Heart by A.M. Jenkins. it was yet another book I was inspired to get, due to Cristy! it's a sweet book, and the writing style really surprised me. but it was really unique and I really liked the book a lot.

I tried to request The Taker online, but I guess NYPL doesn't have it? :[ Queens and Brooklyn have a different library system, so whatever.

Last book I read was -- Do-Over by Niki Burnham. Hahaha, I love reading these books just for the fun of it. But yeah, the writing was crappy and it was so predictable, but hey, it was all out of entertainment. :]

The Mephisto(sp?) Club by Tess Gerritensen(again, sp?).

it's a really creepy book. especially since I read most of it at night and finished it at night...it took me a while to fall asleep. I won't give anything away, but it's an excellent book. it's pretty gory, though, so watch out.

Lucas by Kevin Brooks. It's absolutely amazing and reminds me so much of What Happened to Lani Garver. I cried at the end.

// Oh, Blogring. Rest in peace.

two books, actually. =)

one was called Because I remember terror, father, I remember you. it's a true memoir about this one girl who got sexually abused by her father since she was really little. yea, it had some unnecessary, somewhat graphic descriptions, but it was a good book. I got a little teary eyed cause I felt so sorry for her.

the other was called Tell No One. now THIS is one of the best books I've ever read. I started it in the afternoon, around 3 or 4, and I finished it around 9, 10. it was that good of a book. and it's really thick too. It's about a man and his wife, and one night his wife dies because of this serial killer going around. and 8 years later, on their anniversary, the man gets an email, and in it, it talks about things only him and his wife know. and he thinks his wife is still alive. it's such a greattt book and the suspense is just..killer! it has so many surprises and twists but it makes a lot of sense at the end.

Please Stop Laughing at Me by Jodee Blanco
I woke up to read it, and I almost missed my bus! LOL. I finished it in like three days? I don't know, I remember I read it one day like two months ago, then two days ago and yesterday (like the last ten pages.)

So, yeah, three days. :] But like 95% of it on the second day. Hahaha.

I definitely recommend this book, it was awesome and it was about bullying. I think Jodee definitely proved by this memoir that the school is BS and doesn't give about bullying.

No Second Chance by Harlan Coben.

wow. just....WOW. I zipped through this book so fast I felt dazed when I finished it. seriously. it's probably one of the best books I've ever read. goes right up there on the list next to A Certain Slant of Light and Gone with the Wind.

this one's another suspense book. read. don't be scared away by the size. just...read. you'll be sucked into it if you like suspense.

Acceleration by Graham McNamee
It was a good idea, just poorly written, in my opinion. Eh, I don't recommend it.
