manual vs. automatic

The car I drive is automatic. It's my mom's car and she got automatic. I know how to shift gears but I've never done it.


You know in the automatic picture that car has tip tronic. Which is you can either have it in automatic, or use the manual which is the + and -. It doesn't have a clutch either.

but thats what separates them. the lack of clutch makes it auto.

my friend has a stick that all you do is shift it up..or down..just like initial d (if anyone kno wat im talkin bout)

uh, my shifter is just a red cue ball on a short throw tranny, so i don't melt it =P

sorry eheh english isnt my fire language...........ight ill explain again...its just a stick...that either you push it forwar....or push it down...to change gears...instead of having to go side to side diagnel or watever.......nvm..idk how to explain it

i prefer a stick. the car i learned how to drive on was an automatic tho. i didnt actually start driving a stick until i drove my moms car, then i got my own. but then it died...so now im driving an automatic...for the first week i had the car...i was looking for the clutch when starting the car and driving on the road.
