Girls, Why Cant We Understand Them?

why cant we understand girls? who knows, but i would like to know why. maybe its because they are the oppisite of us, and we would never understand how they act

Boys and Girls have different type of thinking system, while we telling girl every piece of our secret, the girls keeps their secret to their own and share the secrets we told them.... which make us predictable and also... un-united....

Guys, as long as you throw out "You can't understand them" or "they over-dramatize everything," you will never come close to understanding the female mind.

What you'll realize as you grow older and have more contact with members of the opposite sex is that women and men think alike in many regards. For the most part, though, society tells women to be quiet, shy, and reserved on most issues. Take sex for instance. When most guys get in a group, they will probably discuss sex, females, and tell a dirty joke or two. Well, guess what? Women have the ability to do the same exact things. They aren't a different species, nor are they from Venus (sorry, John Gray.)

Women do tend to act on emotion more often than men. Again, that's because it's ingrained into guys to not show emotions.

I'm tired at the moment... I'll go into more detail here soon.

You're saying, they don't over dramatize? If so, that's like saying, Denzel Washington, isn't a brotha'.

The majority do. I'm not saying that they all do. I've come across a few that don't. However, the majority of women do.

I was speaking in general terms.

I actually understand women quite well. I rarely have an occasion where I'm thinking "What the heck?!? I don't understand that woman!"

Most guys have this thing wrong with them, it's called a listening disorder. Girls generally tell us what they want; what's wrong; etc. You just have to listen, and listen close.

Listening is the key. At first it'll be tough, sure, but you'll catch on to the whole, "caring about what she wants" thing. Especially, because you'll know what she wants, by listening.

Some guys show emotion. I'm not afraid to hide anything. However, majority don't. This is why I understand women.

shouldnt you be posting this in general discussion? I mean girls would prolly help you to try to understand them...

Anyways, I think the answer is simple. We tend to look at one thing at a time but they tend to look at a big picture. For exmaple, when we go shopping for something we know exactly what we want and then get out. Girls however, go in being indecisive, and that builds up things.

For instance, a guy will say to himself, I need a pair of nikes. He goes in, buys them and its done with within 15 mins. A girl however wills ay she just needs to get a pair of shoes, she might be even as specific about what type. After that all bets are off. When she sees the slection of lets say sandals, she'll try to fiind which are nice. They dont really go for the idea of will it already match my wardrobe. Instead they buy that and then think about how she can match with them and end up buying 15 other things. Dont beleive me? go shopping with a few girls, tell them what I told you, and they will say, OMG HOW DID YOU KNOW?!

So yes, the point is they tend to focus on the bigger aspect of things, and that can make things complicated, while guys most of the time like to keep things simple.
