Anything that might cause a conflict of interest in the activity is a bad thing. Taking her to an arcade is bad, esp if she doesnt like violence or the thought of the guy she likes pays alot of attention to games. Being active and playing outside is ok because its something that makes both partners active and its not really gping to give a conflict of interest.

If all else seems risky, go get a cup of joe somewhere, talk, possibly see a movie and then have dinner with her (not at a fast food place), and that should let you have the highest probabilty of having the date go smoothly.

And pick a activity corresponding the her interests.
You wouldnt want her to be bored out of her mind, now would you?

i've seen a lot of girls complain that they don't actually get to pay sometimes and find it odd that the guy should always have to pay.

the worst thing? probably doing something you both hate to do, but you're doing it anyway because there is nothing else to do in the small town you live in.

The worst thing that you can do varies between girls. You need to find out what they like to do and do that. If you just take a guess, it probably won't work out. First dates need to be special.
