We are the only fallen world.* Satan rebeled before the earth was created.* The earth was created and Adam and Eve both sinned by eating of the forbidden fruit.* So God knew that we had fallen but if He just destroyed the world or even Satan and his angels when he fell then what example will it show.* It wouldnt show that God is mericful or that He allows people to repent.* People would only obey God out of fear not out of love.

Like woodzo pointed out, why would God create mankind if he knew we were going to sin? Likewise, why would he create The angel Lucifer if he knew he would become so evil?

And why would he create us to obey out of fear and not out of love. Since he created us he could have made us more loving and not fearful creatures...

He aint looking out for us...No, I'm not a believer in the Christian God. <_<

And like I know I've said plenty of times, we just don't know why God does some of the things he does, but it doesn't change our view.

When we say to obey us out of fear, it doesn't mean fear as in we're afraid that he might kill us if we disobey. To "fear God" means to be aware of his power and to revere him.

Sounds like a load of hooey to me. Fearing something implies that there is a danger. By definition. If you don't like the definition, don't use the word.

Some people think that they disprove religion by asking a question that his oppostion doesn't know the answer to.

No, some people think that you try to compensate for every hole and pitfall in your dogmatism by making the hugest copout in all of human history, "I don't know it, but God (whose entire existence is still debatable) does somehow, and therefore I'm sure the answer is satisfactory in one way or another, whatever that might be."

Tell me, timesweetvengeance, you make the claim that God is above logic, yes? And that we can't use logic to disprove him?

I beleive in a God, not necessarily the Christian God. There is something up there watching over us, but I just dont think its the God that is played out in the Bible.

I don't believe in god....period.

If there is a god, I severly doubt his/her "almighty jusicee". And who says God is a man anyway? If ther is a God, can it not be a woman too?

The Bible states that God is a man. . . but, I suppose that you can draw your own conclusions on wehter God is male or not. But while there is evidence pointing to God being a man, there is none pointing out that he may be a woman.
