Barack Obama because he is a sexy mother****er.

In all seriousness, I'm not exactly sure who I support. I'm not all that interested in politics and I don't know enough to form any decided opinions.

But from the little I do know, it's a toss up between Obama and Edwards.

Who do you support, unknown_wanderer?

Blah was here. :P yay!

I honestly have no idea. I know I'm voting for a Democrat. I'm tired of Republicans.

It's a tossup between Obama, Clinton, Edwards and maybe Biden?

If I were going to a vote for a candidate based sheerly on how closely our ideologies are, I'd have to vote for Kucinich, as he best represents my beliefs and opinions. But I do have to admit that that isn't at all realistic. I am not in a huge rush to decide who I'd alternatively support, because the primaries are still a good way off, but I'm leaning Obama. In the end, I know it sounds bad, but I'll vote for whomever gets the Democratic nomination. The only Republican I could really even consider would be Ron Paul, and he has about as much of a chance as Kucinich.

But I thought she said maple leaves..

I have to work on a political campaign for my AP gov class and sadly, Obama is the only one in my area that I can get to. All the other candidates have pretty much given up in Chicago because Obama is a Senator from Illinois.

If I lived in the suburbs, I'd try to find my way to Clinton's HQ, but nope.

This is pathetic that such an important topic only received 4 posts, and yet, I didn't expect anything better.

Are you aware what Bush did this presidency was more on the lines of a Democrat than a republican?

He did nothing for illegal immigration.
He did nothing for the right to carry a firearm.
He did nothing for the right to life (and actually funded pro-choice groups).
He did NOT help the value of the dollar, or restore our monetary policy.
etc, etc...

And if you say the War was the downfall, well then... I would have to state that Clinton supported the war as well.

To say you are 'tired of Republicans' is a very sad excuse to vote Democratic, or at least to limit yourself to one party.

A true Democrat would have been Kucinich, but, just like the Republicans, the Democratic party is extremely out of their minds and put those who don't even share the same ideals the democratic party used to hold very, very high.

I am a Conservative. I would call myself a Constitutionalist.

The only Candidate who deserves my vote is Ron Paul. He is the most in line with Conservatives across the country.

-He opposed the Iraq war from the start, and was on the 2 who voted against it.
-He opposes any type of draft.
-He wants American tax dollars to support America, and no one else.
-He wants to bring our troops home immediately, to protect our borders.
-He wants to restore the value of the dollar, and go back to a good monetary policy.
-He is the only candidate in office that will save billions of dollars, as opposed to spending it:

-Unlike Obama, he does not support the Homegrown Terrorism Act, which states that anyone who is 'anti-war, anti-corporate' could be thrown in jail as a 'terrorist'.
-Unlike McCain, he does not want to be in Iraq, or in the Middle East, for the next 100 years.
-Unlike Huckabee, who let a Rapist free to Rape/Murder another Woman, Ron Paul is a OB/GYN and respects women, and wants to keep Rapists and Domestic Abusers behind bars.
-Ron Paul would pull teens and those who wouldn't benefit from Social Security out of the program. His idea is let it help those it can help, but don't let those who won't reap its benefits be stuck paying for it.
-Unlike McCain, who was involved with a Scandal that stole 1.3 million dollars from (mostly) Senior Citizens, Ron Paul supports Senior Citizens and Veterans.
-Hell, McCain blantantly admitted he knows nothing about the economy.
-Both Clinton and Obama supported the Patriot Act. Ron Paul wants to stop the Patriot Act.
-Obama has stated he will take troops out of Iraq, AND PUT THEM IN PAKISTAN.
-Obama's campaign is funded by huge corporations and lobbyists.
Ron Paul is not in debt a cent, and msot of his money has been donated by supporters.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK PEOPLE.
Ron Paul is the only honest, non-neo-con running. He has voted the same way, for over 20 years - and that is why he has my vote.

Let me see if I get this right.
We need to borrow $10 billion from China,
and then give it to Musharraf,
a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government. We go to war, lose all these lives... promoting democracy in Iraq.
I mean, what’s going on here?
Ron Paul 2008

I'm still disapointed that they didn't allow Stephen Colbert on the South Carolina primary ballet.

I dont see Huckabee or Paul as a viable candidate. And i dont really support McCain. So that rules out the republicans for me. So that leaves me with the Democrats, and im not sure if id pick Clinton over Stalin. So that just leaves Obama. He will most likely get my vote.
