Shall We Dance? featuring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. It was a cute dance movie, a little corny at times, but overall, it was quite predictable and nice. At least it was nice to see a movie that was ballroom, and just ballroom. There was no hip hop dude coming from the streets and some trained dancer going out together and dancing in a big competition (like Save the Last Dance, Step Up, and so much more ...) so that was a good part. But yeah ... it was funny at parts, but it was sort of like a HAH! funny.

The Parent Trap featuring Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, and Lindsay Lohan. It's the 1998 remake of the original that has the blond twins. This is my favorite movie of all time just because...well, I dunno, it's The Parent Trap. >.< I love how everything happens and that Nick and Elizabeth fall in love with each other again upon meeting at the hotel. It's also extremely satisfying seeing Meredith get what she deserves.
This movie is also the one I think Lindsay Lohan acts the best in. :]

^ Yeah, I'll have to agree with you there.

Just saw V for Vendetta the last day before spring break. REALLY GREAT MOVIE. I had to watch a couple parts over and over again just because they were so cool.

Saw 300 yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic!
The gore was tolerable and the brownish hue went perfect with the movie. The sex scenes were a bit over the top for me.. I don't enjoy sex scenes much but would let this one slide because it fit in with the movie so extremely well.
This is definitely not just another meaningless violence movie! The dialogue, and the narraration made the Spartan warriors sound like gods.

King Leonidas is certainly very charming.
...I wanna become a Spartan !

I watched The Last Mimzy today and loved it. I don't get why so many people on IMDb are trashing this film before they've even watched it. I really liked the storyline and the special effects. There was this one part where the whole audience was laughing...probably because it was so unexpected. INTEL, LOL.

We were hanging out for a friend's birthday, so we saw The Host tonight because she gets extra credit for watching it at a theater. I came into the theater not knowing much about the movie, but, surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. I loved the dark humor that was incorporated into some of the scenes.

THANK YOU, Katrina. Gosh, I saw the IMDB forums for that too and just left. They were bashing a movie that I've been looking forward to see since December (saw the previews in Eragon.) Hmph. I can't wait to see The Last Mimzy.

The last movie I saw was Little Miss Sunshine. First of all, why the hell did Alan Larkin win an Oscar? Sorry, but I didn't like this movie at all. It was just trying to be deep, and in my opinion, backfired. I mean, let's look at the characters. (No spoilers, it's on the DVD cover anyway) The Uncle is coming back after depression because he liked someone that didn't like him. The Grandpa is on crack. The Brother is some kind of guy that doesn't talk because he's worshipping whatever. And the Father is some kind of "believe-in-yourself" pep-talker. Yeah, too much drama. *runs away*

I, Robot on Pearl. I watched it a couple of years ago but since I like it and it was showing on TV, I watched it again.
