Kelly heard Liz whisper into her ear, and she giggled along with her. Of course you could, but by the time you finish sampling them all, you'd be full. she thought to herself.
Suddenly, Liz let out a yelp and then looked around, confused, at the few customers looking at her. Kelly looked at her, and tilted her head to the side.
"What's wrong?" Before waiting for an answer, she grabbed Liz's right hand and pulled them to the counter.
"Were you serious about sampling? They'll let us.. OOOH! They have mint chocolate chip... cherry chocolate chip... raiiiinnnbow... dutch chocolate... the good vanilla... mmm.." Kelly seemed to space out, waiting for what Liz wanted.

Carmen ran into the ice-cream parlor where she had finally found Liz and Kelly! She threw her arms around them,

"Hey! Where have you been?" Carmen asked them enthuistically.

"Whoa! Hey, where have you been?! We're getting some ice cream!" Kelly shouted enthusiastically. She was confused as to what happened to Carmen, but didn't put much thought into it, "Join us!" She finished.

After the girls had ordered their ice cream ((((sorry, I'm trying to speed some stuff up on here)))), they found a table outside and sat under the shade of a big umbrella. Kelly quickly started eating hers and gave Carmen and Liz a blank stare, un-sure of what to talk about.

"mmm...this icecream is delicious!" Carmen exclaimed. "man, it was so confusing finding you two!" She smiled a small, sly smile. Her expression showed she had an idea, "I don't know about yall but I am SO in for some hottie-searching today."

She liked her ice-cream once more and started to scan the crowd.

Well, looks like Carmen finally decided to show her face. Liz thought sacrastically with a twisted smile on her face. She then drew her eyebrows together in deep thought, and frowned. Okay, so maybe she got caught up in some stuff at school..
She looked up to the sky, wondering what to do. But as she looked up, she realized that she was sitting under a huge umbrella that blocked the view of the clouds. Liz gave loud sigh as she decided to give up on being mad about something she didn't remember happening.
She looked at Carmen and Kelly, then back at Carmen. She realized that one of them had said something, but she was unsure of who said what. "Did you say something about shopping or something..?? Or going somewhere?"

Carmen rolled her eyes Day dreaming again I bet. She's always like that. Drifting off at random times. Dunno why she's not talking to me. Hmph

Kelly replied for her, "Yea, so do you wanna go shopping with us or not? We're totally bored...and we might get ta see that new hot guy who came into class yesterday."
