Part 1 – Continue (Part 2 of Part 1)
Jade was finished being fitted and her cloaks were ready in no time. Dumbledore lead them out towards more of the shops. She was about to burst with questions; “Sir…how did you know I was going to Hogwarts? And are you really Dumbledore? And where am I going to stay and how am I going to pay for all these things? And do you know who I really am?” She started babbling a bit when Dumbledore raised his hand and chuckled. “Most of the answers are ‘Yes’ and ‘Taken cared of.’ And speaking of ‘taken cared of,’ here’s one of your answers now.” Dumbledore raised his head towards a man with flaming red hair and freckles. This man spotted Dumbledore and rushed towards him. “Ah, Professor Dumbledore, I finally spotted you.” The man panted and shook Dumbledore’s hand. They chatted about something regarding the ministry and was about to go on and on about it when the man spotted Jade. “Ah, is this…?” He smiled a faint smile and looked at Dumbledore. “Arthur, this is Jade Riddle. And Jade,” He looked down at her, “would you kindly stay at this spot while I speak to Mr. Weasley.” Jade raised an eye brow and pondered at the two grown men babble about something important. Jade pondered around. She was really out in the world, no more training in secret, no more secret hooded figures pretending she doesn’t know them when she really does, and no more Father! Definitely no more Father. She stared up at the sky, although she is in the wizarding world, it is still weird of a child to just suddenly look at the sky and do nothing. But she didn’t care, she was free! Finally free. Jade caught a word from Mr. Weasley and Dumbledore. “…will they really?” ‘We will see Arthur, just wait and see.” “But is she really…?” ”Yes Arthur, she is.” “Sir, but…” “Arthur, come now, everyone deserves a chance, even if they are the heir of a dark lord.” Dumbledore chuckled at his own little remark. Mr. Weasley forced a smile, he was surely worried about something. “Jade, will you please come over here.” Dumbledore beckoned her to come over. “This is Mr. Weasley, he has a home in a country lane, called The Burrow, and you shall reside there until your term at Hogwarts.” He smiled and left but before he did he said, “Ah, and Ms. Riddle, I shall advise you, only the Weasley family and close acquaintances know exactly who you are. If anyone were to ask, it is for you to decide to tell them.” He finally left with a little skip to his step and vanished. Jade was curious, more questions left unanswered, so many questions. “Alright then,” Mr. Weasley started to clap his hands, “Jade is it? Well, I am Mr. Weasley, I hope you really have a great time at our lovely home this summer.” Before she knew it, they were at a building surrounded by a litter of old boots and rusty cauldrons. The entered the building where a burst of magic was waiting to find; self knitting knits, pots and pans washing themselves, and cooking…although by magic, it smelled delicious. “Good afternoon Weasley’s.” Mr. Weasley entered making himself more comfortable. A family was sitting at the kitchen table, they were staring the Jade, wondering who she was and why Mr. Weasley had brought her here. “Dad? Who’s she?” A boy, who looked the youngest, said with a mouth full. Including him, there were twins, both with the same red hair as their father, two girls, one with the familiar red hair and one with curly brown hair, and a boy, a boy Jade sensed a familiar feel from and a plump jolly woman. “Family, this is Jade, Jade Riddle.” Suddenly forks and spoons clattered upon their plates, mouths were half open and the boy with black hair was standing. He rushed towards here with his wand at his hand and he yelled at Mr. Weasley to back away. “Harry, you don’t understand.” Mr. Weasley tried to reason with him, but he would not listen, the wand was right at Jade’s nose. “So, you’re Harry Potter. Been waiting to meet you actually.” Jade said with a smile. “I bet you have.” He mumbled in a furious tone. “What are you doing here? You share the same…” Jade interrupted him. “Ah, yes, I do share the same last name as my father, it would make sense. Please, would you lower your wand.” Jade said, still smiling. “Are you really? Really you-know-who’s daughter?” Ron, the boy who was speaking earlier spoke up. The whole family was standing now, their wands in their hands. Mr. Weasley was frowning and his wife, Molly Weasley was also frowning. If they did try to reason with Harry, he’d just yell at them. “Yes, Jade Riddle. Daughter of the Dark Lord, heir to the blah, blah, blah, you really think I’d follow my father?” She said in a tone quite believable. Harry still didn’t lower his wand when everyone else did. The girl with brown hair, Hermione, looked at Jade. “So you’re not an evil girl who wants to destroy Harry Potter?” She also muttered some words under her breath and pointed her wand at Jade. “A truth spell? From what I heard, you’re not aloud to do underage magic. But you know, I am telling the truth. No spells needed or whatnot.” She took out her own wand, everyone stood on their toes, and handed it to Harry, end up. “Here, you can have this for the whole summer if you want.” She still was smiling and nodded to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, hoping they can say something soon. “I’m Fred Weasley.” This boy, Fred, pushed towards Jade. “And I’m George Weasley.” Fred’s twin followed. “Fred? George? What on hell are you doing?” Ron also followed them, looking at Jade with a bit of fear. “She handed in her wand, --“ “No fear Harry.” The twins finished each others sentences. Mr. Weasley did explain to Harry the whole deal, Dumbledore included, and he finally lowered his wand. Everyone made acquaintance with Jade; Mrs. Weasley, Fred and George Weasley, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and Hermione Granger. Harry was the only one still not convinced she can be trusted. This would be a complicated summer indeed. For all of them. Part 1 finished. ---------------------------------------------------- (I'm just going to finish this anyway. Chapter 2 – Questions, Weasley’s Wizards Whizzes
Jade has stayed 4 days at the Burrow and Harry still hasn’t loosened up to her. When ever she’s around him, he tenses and watches every move she makes. Hermione and Ron agree with Harry but they want to give her a chance. “Come on, Harry? She has to be telling the truth. I…” Hermione started her lecture of how Dumbledore trusts her. “Not that I want to disrespect Dumbledore in any way Hermione; he trusts Snape for god’s sake!” Ron burst out trying to counter Hermione’s reasoning. Harry would have done it anyway. Hermione stared intently at Ron, whose ears were as pink as ever. “Will both of you shut up? I don’t care what Dumbledore says, or what anyone says, she’s still Voldemort’s heir, and I do not trust her.” Harry’s wand was clenched tightly in his hand. Ron and Hermione were silent, one because Harry was dead set on not trusting Jade and two because Jade was in the room. “Hey guys!” She said in a perky voice. They mumbled a hello and then it was silent once more. “Oh, Ron, Fred and George need you in their room and Hermione, Mrs. Weasley needs your help in the kitchen.” They looked at each other than at Harry, who eyes were locked on Jade’s; they left the room, hoping he wouldn’t blow up on her. Jade was picking up some random things and examining them. Harry was still glaring at her. “Probably picking things to throw at me.” He muttered under his breath. He can tell Jade heard him but he didn’t care; he just kept staring at her. “After all this time, you’re treating me like some evil over lord,” Harry scuffed at Jade’s remark, “But I think you’re the evil one. You can’t trust me because I share a name and blood with Voldemort doesn’t mean I’m going to be exactly like him!” She raised her voice to him. She already explained this to him, countless times, but he would not listen. “You think you can persuade me by yelling and repeating every word every day?” Harry stood up, wand at the ready. He knew that Jade did not have her wand but she is Voldemort’s heir. “Actually, I thought you’d trust me. It may be a bit cliché but I really do want you to trust me.” She looked straight into his eyes. Harry thought he was looking in a mirror for a second but he woke up and blinked harshly. Mrs. Weasley’s voice echoed through the house; lunch was ready. Harry watched Jade go first to the kitchen, making sure she doesn’t pull a fast one. They finally made it to the kitchen, no thanks to the constant jinxing and missing shots at Jade. Harry keeps thinking that every move she made was an attempt to attack him. It was no different at the lunch table. Fred and George were constantly trying to avoid Harry’s attacks; they wouldn’t believe Harry won’t stop. They liked Jade. “Harry, would you stop?” Fred finally spoke up in the middle of his chicken sandwich. “Jade isn’t doing anything wrong, just eating.” George blocked the leg locking curse Harry just threw. “Why don’t you just except that she’s not here to destroy you!” Hermione spoke up this time, stopping Harry from anymore curse throwing. “She wants to befriend you, she even told me.” She clasp her hands over her mouth, looking at Jade; who nodded, giving permission to tell them what she told her. Hermione explained everything over the kitchen table. About how Voldemort never let Jade do anything outside the house hold; where ever she went, death eaters went; how her father told her stories about Dumbledore and Harry Potter, but she disagreed with him in becoming immortal or causing any mental damage. The more Hermione explained, the more the attention turned to Jade. Her face was bright red. “You see, she’s telling the truth.” Hermione was finished and Harry was dumbfounded and felt terribly horrible for the treatment he’s been giving Jade and everyone else. “Would you have any sense in forgiving me?” He held out a hand towards her, and of course, she accepted the apology. Fred and George sighed in relief and everyone else laughed. Harry gave back Jade’s wand, and from then on, they were friends. For the next couple of weeks, they all practiced quidditch together, studied for the term together, and went to Fred and George’s joke shop, Weasley’s Wizards Whizzes, for kicks. George led all the tours for Jade, in secret, he fancies her. Not totally a secret for Fred, but everyone else doesn’t know. “You know George, this summer is the best I’d ever had,” Jade mentions while on the tour of the joke shop, tinkering with some joke wands, “this place is awesome.” She jumped a bit when the wand turned into a rubber chicken. George laughed under his breath. Fred came out of no where and patted Jade on the head, “Be careful not to explode anyone with anything. And if you want, go visit Hermione and Ginny at the WonderWitch section.” He disappeared just as fast as he appeared. “I know your twins, but do you always have to just pop out like that?” Jade giggles while she handed the rubber chicken to George. “Always a treat when people ask that. It’s also a treat when we tell them we can’t answer it.” They both laughed at his joke. As time came around they eventually visited the WonderWitch Products where the girls were still hovering over the Patented Daydream Charms. “Usually this place is packed but since Fred and George closed the shop for the summer, its not.” Ron said standing behind Jade. ”I would have figured that out Ron. Why’d they close it for the summer?” Jade eyed Ron, hoping for an answer. ”Well, we’ve had it open everyday of the year since we opened it --” Fred once again came out of no where. ”And we decided to take a break and close it for awhile, although –“George joined him. ”Although it’s bad for the business.” Fred finished. Jade laughed while they did this, finish each other’s sentences. Everyone else was used to it but they’d understood why Jade was laughing. It made sense that Voldemort would not let any happiness into her life, only cold heartedness and work. This is when Harry stood up to ask her something since she walked through the Burrow’s door. “Hey Jade, can I speak to you in private?” Harry beckoned her outside. She was playing catch with George and the Pygmy Puffs. ”Erm…sure Harry.” She tossed her last pygmy at George and walks towards the door. Harry started to walk slower as Jade skipped about. “Okay, this may be the most rudest question to you but, would you tell me the whereabouts of Voldemort?” Harry spitted it out; pretty hastily too. Jade stopped skipping and started at him, she look confounded. ”Can’t, sorry.” That’s all she said and she started to skip again. ”Can’t? Why not? You said your self you don’t want to be like him, why are you protecting him?!” Harry lost his temper, he wanted to know so bad where Voldemort was and he though Jade could tell him. ”Calm down Harry…” Jade started to stutter, but he wouldn’t. ”Why should I calm down? You could help us finally defeat him! But you’re protecting him!” He got even more mad. This scared Jade, so she told him the truth. ”It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, its that my father put a curse, unbreakable curse, that if I told any secrets regarding him, the curse would kill me.” She lipped her licks, waiting for Harry’s response. He looked as confounded as she did when he asked the question. “I’m sorry.” He said, with his head hung low. ”It’s not your fault, I understand. You do not know how many times I tried to make him squeal about his horcruxes…” She was interrupted by Harry’s rather loud gasps. ”You know about them, about the horcruxes?” He was absolutely surprised. “Well, he didn’t tell me about them, but I did over hear him talking to himself about them. But that’s all, he wouldn’t tell me any hint of their whereabouts,” She walked closer to him, “Lets not talk about this any longer, lets go back inside.” She started to walk towards the store. “Jade?” Harry gave another sigh, “Sorry again.” She smiled at him, and walked back inside. Something told Harry that he and Jade were going to get along just fine. End of Chapter 2 ---------------------------------------------------- ![]() Quote:

Chapter 3 – What’s the truth?
It was a week before school started and Jade was flying around hoping to be apart of the quidditch team of her selected house. She was playing against Harry, Fred and Ginny, while George and Ron were on her side. It was a fairly even game. Everyone had a turn on Harry’s Firebolt and Ron nearly fell off it for the thousandth time. They had so much fun before they had to leave for Hogwarts. Starting in a late year would be a challenge for Jade; she only did learn from her father, and no one else. Everyone was starting their 6th year besides Ginny, who was starting her 5th, and Jade was also starting her 6th year, leaving her 6 years behind everyone else. Hermione started cramming as much as she knew on several pieces of parchment for Jade to catch up, she just got dizzy reading all the information. “She won’t be needing to know that rubbish.” Ron said with a mouthful of mashed potato. They were having a late lunch while Mrs. Weasley and Mr. Weasley went to get there stuff from Diagon Alley. ”What if she does? You never know!” Hermione wrote even more while at the table. Jade was just smiling while listening to the random bickering Ron and Hermione always came up with. Jade had already packed the books and cloaks Dumbledore had bought her at the beginning of the summer. Her wand was always tucked away near her ankles for easy access. Harry and her both got up to put away their dishes when everyone stopped eating. “What?” Harry looked bewildered at their suddenly cease of talking and eating. “Are you guys okay?” Jade waved her hand over George’s eyes. “Did you notice you guys look very similar?” Hermione spoke up, since no one else would. “Are you serious? Don’t joke like that.” Jade laughed, in a coughing way. “Yes seriously,” Ron pulled Harry to the side while Hermione pushed Jade right next to him, “I only noticed it now when you guys stood up.” Ron and everyone else was right. When Jade and Harry stood next to each other, they had similar features. Their eyes were both the shade of green and they both had black messy hair, they were the exact height and the way they looked was uncanny. No one understood why they only noticed now but Harry and Jade looked exactly like each other. “Are you sure you guys aren’t related?” Fred laughed jokingly. Jade looked at him funny, “How can I be related to Harry when my father’s Volde…” She stopped there when everyone’s face stood ready for the name. “I mean, you-know-who.” She scratched her head in apology. “But who ever heard of the Dark Lord having children?” Ron spoke up, finishing his plate. They agreed with him, but they wouldn’t believe that Harry and Jade were siblings, or related in any way. Fred changed the subject by wondering what house Jade would be in. “The sorting hat would probably say Slytherin.” Hermione spoke up. They were in the living room discussing houses. “True, but I wouldn’t like being there, I don’t think anyone would like to.” Jade fluttered her wand around, wishing she can do magic right now. “Hopefully your in Gryffindor, you’d be great.” Harry dodged the movements of her wand, just being on the safe side that it suddenly explodes. “What ever house you’re in –“ Fred spoke up. “You’ll be a great chaser.” George finished. They started hastily talking about strategies and whatnots, Hermione, Ginny and Jade walked out into the garden to make fun of some gnomes and Crookshanks. Ginny walked ahead and faced Jade and Hermione. “I hear George likes you Jade.” She looked up at Jade’s face, making her blush a bit. “Really now, that’s nice.” She backed away looking up at the sky, avoiding any eye contact. “Do you like him too? If so, that’d be so cute.” That was the first time Jade heard Hermione say cute, but she still avoided any eye contact with the two giggling girls. “Come on, Jade. You like my brother. Don’t deny it!” Ginny bounced right in front of her again and gleamed. Jade paid not attention and picked up a gnome by its scuff and threw it over the fence. You could hear it shouting out foul words. “George wouldn’t fancy me; I’m a silly little 6th year.” Jade picked another gnome and bounced it around like a ball. (She never knew that gnomes could bounce.) ”You don’t know that, and don’t take out your words on the gnome.” Hermione took the bouncing gnome away from Jade and threw it over the fence. ”SO! YOU DO LIKE HIM!” Ginny came back in front of Jade, still gleaming. Jade tried turning away from them, but she couldn’t lose them. So she kept her mouth shut, finally Ginny and Hermione quit trying to get the truth out of her and they just stared at the rioting gnomes about being bounced around. But once in awhile Hermione would see a little smile on Jades face; she kept her mouth shut. They’ll just have to wait until Jade’s ready to tell her feelings. End of Chapter 3 --------------------------------------------------- (A/n: Ugh, I just noticed that my title is spelled wrong...and I don't know how to change that. it's suppose to spell, "The Heir of the Dark Lord." ...help?) ![]() Quote:

Chapter 4 – “But we were close friends.”
Today was a busy day. Trunks being last minutely packed, Mrs. Weasley screaming at the twins being idiots for bewitching trunks to travel on their own, and Crookshanks still chasing gnomes around, and Ron misplacing his books and quills. Jade loved being able to join the hustle of the first day of school. Getting to King’s Cross wasn’t easy either. Mr. Weasley did rent ministry cars this year, just for the occasion that Fred and George wanted to tag along too. They all fit impossibly, but comfortably in one car, and started again discussing quidditch strategies. They finally reached King’s Cross with much hassle, for some odd reason, there were a lot more muggles running a muck around the station. So they all casually leaned upon the entrance and slid in. They got there early, with 15 minutes to spare. “Jade, lets go find a compartment first and well say goodbye to mum afterwards.” Ron shoved his trunk up the steps of the train, at the same time, pushing Harry and his trunk through the many students already aboard. “Write at least once a week for any updates. And be careful, take care of your sister Ron! Harry, Jade, darlings, please to take care and don’t forget…FRED! DO NOT HAND OUT THOSE THINGS AT THE STATION!” Mrs. Weasley caught Fred giving out Filibuster’s Fabulous No-Heat, Wet-Start Fireworks. Jade, Hermione and Ginny gave little giggles while Harry and Ron poorly hid their laughs. “Keep whispering our names and our shop will ya?” Fred said through the screams of his mother. “Make sure they actually hear ‘em.” George added, winking at Jade. Who, Harry saw, started to blush. “Alright you lot, take care now.” Mr. Weasley waved as the train started to move slowly as Mrs. Weasley wiped Ron’s face through the windows. You could hear little snickers from unnoticeable students upon the train. With a last goodbye and Ron irritably saying, “Mum,” Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Fred and George were out of sight. They moved towards their compartments feeling quite exhausted. Ron was twitching his nose quite constantly, he stopped when he noticed that Hermione, Ginny, Harry, and Jade were looking at him with a funny look. “What? It feels like mum ripped my nose off with that napkin.” He looked out the train window. It was a beautiful day, the shadows of trees and mountains were swimming in the sunlight that was bursting from the cloudless sky. Ginny and Hermione were attempting to groom Crookshanks who seemed like he didn’t mind, Harry was polishing his wand, he never did before but he wanted to notice the difference. And Jade was fiddling around with her fingers. “Oh no!” Jade jumped up, holding one of her ears. “What’s the matter with your ear? Fred but anything in it?” Ron laughed at his own joke. “No, I lost one of my earrings. It probably fell with Hedwig’s cage passed my head.” She looked on the floor of the compartment, so did Hermione and Ginny. Harry and Ron didn’t understand what was so important about an earring. “You don’t understand? Those earrings were the result of my first use of magic alchemy.” She looked even more. ”Magic alchemy? There’s such a thing?” Ron looked at Harry, hoping he understood, he didn’t. ”Yes, when you fuse two things together using alchemy and magic.” Hermione said in a matter-of-factly tone. ”I’m going to check out in the hall, maybe its there.” Jade left the compartment, leaving them with Hermione telling them more about magic alchemy. Jade frustratingly looked upon the floors of the train, hoping to find a slight glimmer of her piece of jewelry. She probably wondered only a few compartments ahead when she saw something shining around a corner. She hurriedly picked it up, it was her earring. Hastily putting it on, she headed back towards the rest of the group, only to be halted by a rush of three busting out of a compartment. “Excuse me!” Jade screamed at them. She knew there were three of them who came out of the compartment but the third one was covered by two large boys. They had a nasty look upon their faces. “Aren’t you going to apologize? You almost flipped me over!” said Jade. She was exaggerated it a bit, but it surprised her, she just wanted to her an apology. “Apologize? I, apologize to you? A lowlife with no sense of direction?” The third boy spoke, still not showing his face. “Sense of direction? How can I have no sense of direction when you’re the fool who blundered into me!” She was getting furious, all she wanted was to sit down and have a couple of laughs with her friends. At last, the rude boy pushed aside his posse and showed his face. He had blond sleek hair and a pointed face. His eyes showed a gleam of evil but it was probably just the light. He was looking foul at Jade when suddenly he looked questioningly. Jade also looked closely at him, she knew who he was. “Draco? Draco Malfoy? Is that you?” She walked closer to the boy named Draco. He raised an eye brow at Jade and smiled. “Jade, Jade Riddle. You’re finally at Hogwarts.” Draco smirked and signaled his posse, Crabbe and Goyle, to back off. “I haven’t seen you in ages, how has it been?” He crossed his arms. “Actually, Draco…” Jade started but was interrupted by Harry, Ron, and Hermione busting threw Crabbe and Goyle, pushing aside Draco. “That mudblood touched me!” Draco looked as though something poisonous was dripping along his sleeve. Hermione gave the same look towards him. “What are you doing to Jade, Draco?” Harry pointed his wand at the straightening up Draco. Jade was surprised at this reaction. “Harry? What are you doing? You don’t like Draco?” Jade innocently asked Harry, seriously not knowing what was going on. There was an eerie silence, just the movement of the train can be heard. Draco snickered after a couple of seconds, he looked as though he was getting a treat out of this situation. “Little Jade has made friends with Harry Potter. And his little fan club. How ironic.” Draco placed his hands on his hips, still snickering. “How do you know Jade?” Harry lowered his wand again. His curiosity was getting the better of him. “Harry, Draco and I used to be close friends. He would come over countless times, and we’d curse rats and whatnots.” Even if Jade was explaining, she looked just at confused as Harry, Ron and Hermione. Ron’s face contorted into a very confused face as Hermione looked as though her head was to explode, Harry was looked from Draco to Jade, trying to filter what she had just said. “I actually though Big Draco here had a little crush on me.” Jade spoke again, gleaming a bit. Draco looked taken aback for a moment and he smoothly smiled a wicked smile. “A little crush? Little Jade, we were 9, I still thought you had cooties.” Draco poked Jades shoulder. This just made the trio even more confused. Draco saying “cooties?” Smiling every moment Jade spoke? Smiling period?! There was a lot more explaining involved, everyone was just too shocked to filter anything.
