in some states, parents aren't required to know... you just have to fill out the medical info...

GAHH i wish I WAS! but im TOO CHICKEN to go to a TEEN CLINIC! and I'D GET THE PILL FOR FREE TOO! if i just went to a TEEN CLINIC!!! GAHH! my friend gets her pills FOR FREE! she just goes to walgreens and they change them for her every month... bahhh, too bad im too chicken. i HATE my period, and its so i never know when its comming, and my cramps are horrible, i get cramps before AND after my period so its like WTF? you know, blah. when i get the guts to go, i'll go get it.

I don`t. I mean, I have heard of other reasons for using it before, but I don`t think I`ll ever be needing it for anything else besides sex.

Yah, I'm on the pill. I had an irregular period and at one point was on my period for a month. :blink: I want to switch to the patch though...i suck at remembering to take them. I won't be needing them for sex as i'm waiting for marrage. I heard that birth control can make it harder for you to have children later on in life...which i don't like because i really want children when i'm older. I think most teens that are on birth control are on it for non-sex reasons...don't remember where i read that.

I'm on birth control, but mine isn't in the poll. I'm on nuvaring, which is the easiest monthly method. It's inserted for 3 weeks, and then taken out for a week, and then you put a new one in. The only birth control that can make it so you might not be able to have kids is the shot. It really messed up my friend's body, and her sister had to stop taking it because she might not be able to have kids because of it. There's an implant that will last for several years.

Im not on it, my parents would be soooooo pissed because they are like you should wait until your married to have sex, but when I turn 18 next year im getting the shot cause i would forget to take the pill and i heard the patch sucks

nope i dont use...my dermotolgist suggested if i wanted to cuz i used to breakout before my period..but my mom thought i was too young for it

nope im fine with my pms cause it comes like once every 5 months
and plus i dont tihnk my parents would be too happy
