i personally don't like either more. they both have advantages and disadvantages. for the digital you can see the picture right after you take it, and you don't have to worry about it being a bad pic. but film has, i think, better quality photos and seem to look better overall to me. but i still like both, i just use a digital more since its easier to deal with...

I actually prefer both digital and non-digital. Each both has it's ups and downs. But overall it depends on what type of camera you get. But the smaller the camera the worse it's features are. Image quality won't be so great. Smaller isn't always better. And usually I use the non-digital when I take family pictures that include backgriounds. Digital cameras can sometimes blur out the background even if you don't have the setting on. I don't really know what you guys would prefer but whatever floats your boat then go ahead and do it.

I prefer digital cameras because for one, the picture quality is alot better, and I like how you can view your photo and if you don't like it, you can just delete it, instead of having to waste film on a picture that didn't turn out good for whatever reason.

When I was younger though, I loved film cameras, mainly because I didn't have a digital camera (:P) and because they were easier to get developed and actually have the paper copy in your hand. I did alot of scrapbooking back then, throughout my high school years so that's the reason it was important to me.

but now, I love my digital camera

I am a photographer who has been working in the field for 14 years. I studied film in school and have only recently started using digital, for the past year or so. I love the instant results you get from digital and the quality is almost there. Not yet as good as film, but soon. Check out some shots Ive taken with my digital SLR.

Digital.

That way, you can edit your pictures to the way you want them, plus, it has better picture quality then film cameras.

day out, day in.
it's the alarm versus me
and the snooze button wins.

Personally, I prefer digital since it allows many more possibilities. Film may have a higher quality, but with these 8.0+ megapixel digital cameras, soon digital will be stronger than film in every way possible.
