Help making 'feature' band photo' in photoshop? Ideas wanted?

I want to make a real dramatic/artsy photo for some friends in a local rock band called 'devilution' I am a professional photographer also have an association with web design company , but focus on photojournalism more than this type of work. I haven’t taken the photo I want to edit in photoshop yet, because I haven’t came up with an idea of what to do.

Looking for ideas as specific or vague as they might be. I will post the finished project on my Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing page. I am sorry this question is so unclear, but honestly I don’t know how i want to approach it, hence me turning to a forum.
