It depends of what type of music it is. If it's rock or heavy metal or maybe even classical, I can fall asleep. Anything else, I probably won't be able to fall asleep.
Actually, listening to heavy metal on my iPod helps me fall asleep.

It all goes back to childhood (cue harp noise and motion-through-clouds visual), when my brother would play his fragging christmas-present radio all night long. I was around 10 - before I had any music interest - and my ears were bombasted with bands that I couldn't live without nowadays. Back then it was a loathsome cacophony. I remember getting in trouble in school for falling asleep. I couldn't help it; brother would NOT shut it off! Graaagh! The memories.. the MEMORIES....
