I have a lot of lifeguard friends that know CPR and they randomly talk about it.

Do you know CPR?

Er, I used to. It was a requirement for me to learn it freshman year. I still have my card that says I'm certified to perform CPR.

There's no "I used to know" option so I just said yes, because I still remember some of it.

I know the general procedure, but I have to say no since I've never tried it and have never formally been taught it.

I learned it for health last summer, but I'm not certified. I have to get it for work, though. Because that won't be a COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF A SATURDAY or anything like that..

But I thought she said maple leaves..

I had to take half a semester of it last year. I haven't had to use it in real life though.

Yeah, I took it for American Red Cross club. I passed, but they never sent the card that said I'm certified. I heard that the guy couldn't deliver it to my school. <.< Anyways, it's gonna expire in a few months.
