I can't help finding that funny. I mean, how do you get it? Is there a "winner"? Or do they just give it out to anyone who's left handed? And can't a right handed person just claim their a left handed person? Crazy. |

Myth #3 - I don't qualify! Not so fast. There are four types of scholarships: merit, need-based, university-based, and minority-based. It becomes a matter of finding out which is best for you and how many you are eligible for. Minorty-base? so there are scholarships for every race except white since they arent minorties? ISnt that kinda racist? i mean it is kinda discrimination cuz well i mean they have to offer some to them too.. also there are scholarships for women only..too.. cuz like how women dealt wit so much trouble in the past.. and what about scholarships.com? |

In addition to scholarships, you could get a job and start saving now. It doesn't seem like a lot but it'll help some, and when it comes time to get a job in college, employers will see that you have work experience.
I don't like the use the internet to look up scholarships because they always come up with ones that seem irrelevent, but usually school counslers will have lists of good scholarships or can recomment places to start searching. Also have your parents check with thier companies to see if they have scholarships. If you have other sibilings in college, there's a good chance that the school you get into will have some sort of financial help. Also, you might want to think about going to a community college and transferring. Another thing that could help is that small liberal arts colleges usually have really good financial aid packages, because they want to attract more students. Williams is a particularly good one that has excellent financial aid packages. Hope this helped! ![]() ![]() <div align="center"> ![]() Jezli</div> |
