That's sick. My friends and I were just talking about terrabytes and how far we were from making a hard drive that big the other night. Obviously we didn't do our homework, hmm?

I have a 40 gb, but 6 is blank. So it's around 33 gb. I'm only 40% used up. My dad has a 125 gb and he's far away from filling it up. Even with all of the music he has on it.

But that would be cool. *drools*

Now that I think about it, if I got this awesome piece of hardware. I would be able to download practically every show I ever watched and keep it stored without having to delete it, like I do now.

wrong. i have two 250 harddrives both full. with games, movies, a few different OS's and some things im creating. the more space the better.

I know that this is an old topic, but it's worth tossing my two cents into.
For people who need that muhch space, it's awesome. Apple really got into the spirit when they added up to 1TB internal on their PowerMacs, and on top of that you can plug the memory up to 16GB. Pretty sweet. Although I wouldn't just on that too fast, because theres some new stuff pulling into town. Optical memory and HDs, for one. Say I have a laptop with 4GB optical memory. Good, but not compaired to 16GB on a Powermac, right? Wrong. You can work less amounts of optical hardware harder and faster than more amounts of regular hardware. Just think. 1+TB HDs that pull up anything at anytime in the blink of an eye. It's crazy stuff. :blink: I'll hunt for the website where they sell the laptops and update later.

Lol My laptop only has 40GB, and I've used up half of it... I might never need THAT much space..

Haha, Mike, same here. It's a lot of space, but wow... it doesn't hurt to be greedy.
