1TB hard drive

If you're into ripping DVD's and putting them on your computer, than you would need a TB of space. My friend does it and he doesn't have enough space (100gb) to put all of his DVD's on. I think one DVD is around 3 gbs? I'm not sure. So.. If you have.. 300 movies, then yes, it could be used up.

maybe its for the serious home network-ers who want a huge networked hard drive to wirelessly send, archive, and get information. but i think its gonna be used mostly for like a digital media library.

Man, I want that. I know my brother would definitely want that but I'd fight him for it.

yeah, now i need that much space. :P 1TB would be awesome for all the dramas i want to keep on my computer. 40 GB (technically 33GB) became really easy to use up once i started downloading dramas.. >.< i've been having to split my files so i could store it on CDs, 'cause my parents won't buy me an external portable hard drive. just the 250GB would be nice..

You must have an older computer. Right now it would be easy to put a 1tb HDD in a computer. Like, you can get up to 4 on Mac Pros. I have a 160 gig HDD and I am using it up with photos!
