I am on an AOL internet subscription, so the main sites that I visit will be on this IE engine, while the rest are on Firefox. I prefer Firefox in that the images are not compressed, unlike IE where everything is output as **bleep**.
I don't like Safari. I use it on the Mac's at school. It renders poorly, in my opinion. By the way, PNGs do work properly on IE; otherwise, I would not be using them for cross-browser purposes. PNGs have been the recommended image format as approved by the W3C for the past two years, so a browser that does not fully support it at this point in time is totally lost. ![]() - I have changed my username from aznXinvazn. - "In this world, common sense isn't so common." |

Firefox is WAY better at Internet Explorer in a lot of ways like blocking pop-ups adware and all those yucky annoying stuff. But Internet Explorer lets you view some stuff you can't view in Firefox. Like sometimes music, scrollbar colors and alignment of some websites.
Mozilla is faster anyways--- so I like firefox more. ![]() What do you mean? I'm still Cloud's Biggest Fan. ^^^^^Wow, that was my old sig? Bring back Blogring...!!! ![]() |

denis, Know that Safari is only running poorly on the school Macs are because of the school filtering system. In any school, the Board of Education has this really strict filter that goes through every piece of information before it's viewable on the school computers, thus making the quality of the speed and such less than admired. However, Safari runs extremely fast on my Mac. I never had a problem with it. It just depends on the actual situtation. ![]() Awards: Most Generous [1st Award Show] Most Generous [2nd Award Show] Most Generous [3rd Award Show] Most Generous [4th Award Show] Thanks guys! My university doesn't necessarily have a filtering system.
I was referring to the general output and interpretation of the code. It appears as though it's a tad different from IE and Firefox and not really a WYSIWYG browser. ![]() - I have changed my username from aznXinvazn. - "In this world, common sense isn't so common." |

Of course it would be a tad different from IE and Firefox, it was built for the Mac OS.
I do admit that it isn't really a WYSIWYG browser, but it's compatibility with Mac systems are quite outstanding, beats running IE on your Mac by a ton! ![]() Awards: Most Generous [1st Award Show] Most Generous [2nd Award Show] Most Generous [3rd Award Show] Most Generous [4th Award Show] Thanks guys! Firefox is the best when it comes to blocking pop-ups, and organizing, but IE is best when viewing Layouts. Having both are pretty useful just knowing when to use one or the other is up to you.
