Linux store? they have those? Sweet!!
There arnt special "Linux" stores. It's an online thing. every now and then a store carries a distro. But for linux, everyone is shareing programs and people who know information share it with those needing.

With mac though, i cant help but feel like they think im an idiot. Its simplicity and restraints make it seem like "silly user, just do this and it will allllll be good".

I also love how Apple advertises "Macs dont get viruses". This makes you think they have superior firewalls and antivirus. The Truth? No one cares about macs enough to make viruses for them.

I dont like apple, but i have to give them credit. They are improving. If you looked at any mac product like...2-3 years ago, it would just be sh_t. Plain and simple sh_t.
You've got it backwards. It should be: "The only reason Windows can now run on a Mac is that they switched processors." Mac on a Windows machine? That's blasphemy; OSX would probably refuse to install itself onto one.

Macs really are easy to use. Though, if I did have one complaint, it'd be not being able to rename multiple files at once.

Wrong. If you study a Mac machine's shell architecture, you'll notice a lot of differences from a Windows system's shell.

i didnt say they were the same. But it is true, that windows stole the GUI from apple. do a little history research. And i did mean "put mac on a pc" not the other way around. But. in school, my project was to install OSX on a pc, and it ran fine. So its compatible both ways.

I was talking about the "reluctance" of cyber-criminals creating virii for a Mac.

Mac OS X on a Windows machine is obviously hacked. I don't know why anyone would want to do that.
