Windows. I like the setup better.

For graphics, I'd get a Mac.

I prefer Windows as that is what I'm used to the most... but I suppose I could try a Mac for awhile.

Mac? Too complicated? Sorry, but you have the wrong system. Macs have one drive. The HD. Hard drive. Your PeeCees? H drive, J drive, Q drive, M drive, hwhjfhdakjh drive, waaaaaay too many. Simple is elegant. Simple is better. When you use a mac, you insert a CD, it shows up on the desktop. Right there. Everything on the CD, right there. No navigtating through contextual menus and folders, just to get the content. And guess what? If it's an audio CD, it automatically opens up iTunes. If it's a DVD, it opens up DVD player, ect, ect. I could go on.

Now who's too complicated?

What is with you and false information. Leopard will not include any emulation-type or dual booting (Boot Camp) option in the OS. PowerPC isn't that slow, granted Intel has far better processors, but Quad G5? The new Woodcrest machines will beat it, but saying PowerPC is slow is just silly. Apple will keep Boot Camp beta so they won't have to worry about supporting it and windows. People who say Macs are too complicated haven't used one or even looked at using one.

i've used both... mac is better in that it doesnt crash (well it has like mini crashes that last for like 5 seconds but thats about it... no having to go to task manager and quitting processes....)

mac has compatibility issues... i have to use boot camp to play cabal

but all in all mac owns.

I've been thinking about getting a laptop, but I'm trying to debate between a mac and something else.

MacBooks are pretty versatile, but I'm not a big fan of its setup. I've used macs before and still use them now in the yearbook office...but it hasn't won me over.

Wow, I saw my post in here on this topic from about two years ago and I think about what an ass I used to be. I would do just about anything to get a Mac. At the moment, I am an Apple FANATIC. Leopard is so simple but so feature filled. Windows just annoys me. I just bought a new eMachines with Vista but I would have bought a Mac if my dad had had enough money. I use my brothers Powerbook G4 often and it is so nice. I would like to have it. And Apple products are so sleek and elegant. I mean, seriously. They are curvy and just plain beautiful. Windows PCs and laptops have all those stickers on them and sharp angle and many design flaws. Oh well. I must decide on Mac for this one.

P.S. For anyone who is looking to buy a new PC, (I recommend you not to) don't be too worried about Vista. It really isn't that bad. But from what I can tell, it is gets along better with AMD processors than Intel processors. Don't ask me why, it just does.
