Tutorial Written by: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Adobe Photoshop 7+
Difficulty: 2/10

This tutorial will teach you how to multicolor without using the hue/saturation and gradient overlay that I use in almost all of my sigs.

1. Open up your signature or the image that you want to colorize. If you are using a render make sure you colorize it black and the sig.

2. Make a color balance layer above your sig layer by click on the circle that looks like a ying/yang at the bottom of your layer pallette.

3. Adjust it to the color of your choice which will be your first color I used pink.

4. Make another color balance layer aboove your other first one and adjust a different colors which will be your second color. I used blue.

5. Go up to Filter>>Render>>Clouds hit ctrl+f about 3 times.

You can add another color if you like just follow step 4-5. So far it should look something like this we're not done yet because it still looks a bit dull and boring:

6. Now add a Curves layer by click on the ying/yang circle at the bottom of your layer pallette.

7. Use these settings:

9. Make another color balance layer with the same color as your first or second color balance.

10. Filter>>render>>cloud

Optional steps:
You can add more color balance with different colors then filter>>render>>clouds for more result afterward do another curve and adjust it to what you think look best.

Note: I did not do the optional step since I only wanted to use 2 colors.

My final result with some effects and border:

i was wondering...for steps 3-4, do you make another layer and then do the colors balance. or do you it on the same layer?

No when you click on the color balance and finish adjusting the color that is one color balance layer. You don't creat a layer yourself. It's automatic once you click the "color balance".

Make sure you use two different colors with the color balance.

yes I'm sure I was doing it right. I did the first layer in blue, then did another colour balance in green...
Jeeze...and I expected this one to be easy and for the movie banner to be difficult. But it's the other way around...Well I'll go try again, maybe I'll get it. Thanks.
I love your FF&KH banner you made btw.

I don't understand that. I just got PS 7, so I'm pretty stupid. Can you explain it?
