Converting Image Packs/Stamps into Brushes
Tutorial Written by: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Adobe Photoshop (Any Version)
Difficulty: 1/10

Defining Brushes
Image Packs, or "Stamps", are brushes saved as images. They exist so that users of other versions of Adobe Photoshop (or PSP) can use the brush pack as well. Here is how to convert the image pack into a brush set.

First, download an image pack. Image packs are usually in .zip files. Extract the files then open all of them on Photoshop.

Select one image at a time, go to Edit >> Define Brush Preset. Then close that image and move on to the next. Repeat this step until all the stamp images have been defined.

Now select the brush tool. Go to the top and click the dropdown arrow for the brush tool. Then click the arrow at the corner and select "Preset Manager".

Saving Brush Sets
A window should pop up. Click the first brush of the pack you just defined (I deleted all my brushes beforehand so the ones I defined are the only ones there). Then hold down Shift and click the last brush you have defined. Click "Save Set..."

Name your brush and save.

Now the set has been saved! You can use the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to see how to load brushes.
