Tutorial for Paintshop Pro: Rainbow Images
Tutorial by: Paine of Triplexthreat
Difficulty: 3/10

Ok my fellow Paint Shop Pro users here's a tutorial on how to achieve the rainbow-colored effect for images.

01. Alrighty, first start up PSP [i use PSP8 but i think this will work for older or newer versions]. Then open up an image. I chose Bada.

02. click the preset shape tool

and then click on the background color box

on the materials toolbar to open up a larger toolbar.

03. Click Gradients from the submenu and choose either Rainbow or pastel Rainbow, deciding on how strong you want your rainbow colors to stand out. Modify the angles, style and repeats to your liking. I chose Pastel Rainbow with a 50 degree angle.

04. Now drag a box over your image.

This creates a new vector layer on this tool bar.

05. Now here comes the fun part. On the tool bar mentioned above [formally known as the layers toolbar] choose a blend mode that you like--like hue, color or screen.
I chose color [legacy].

and there's my final image. Save it and you're done.

just to let you know your images for your tutorial are no longer available(for me at least)

also starzx your signature is too big... it might help to get rid of the avatars that you added to it.

The images are working for me, but they are hosted on photobucket so I'll rehost them later.

I think starzx won't be back, Kenny. And next time, you can PM missing image reports to me or michelle >_O

Here is blendmode:

It's on your layers palette that says "normal". The tutorial creator suggests to change the blendmode to Color (Legacy), but you can also change it to hue =)
