Step 1
Make a new image, and using a pixel text font write the word you want as pixel text. [I recommend Redensek font.]
Make sure you make it Floating in the Create as: & no stroke width. My recommend font size is 12.

Step 2
Go to Selections --> Modify --> Expand
picture guide:

Step 3
Wondow should pop up like this:

, and make sure it`s only 1.
Step 4
Color in the outline with a darker color than the inside like so:

Step 5
Now all you do now is dot the top of the letter with white.
You`re done! Here`s the finished product.

OO cool i`ve been trying to learn how to do that.. but i was trying to do it on bigger fonts.. =) even though pixel fonts are recommended ... could u use a bigger font and it will look the same?

no unless it`s still around 6-12 font. =/

I think stroke is an easier way, but I think the tutorial maker didn't know about it when this tutorial was made >_O
