Difficulty: 5/10
konnichiwa! Yuna here with my first tutorial. So let's begin.
1. open an image up. I present to you the orginial image and beautiful ayumi hamasaki.
2. Now once you have done that, click "layers" > and then "duplicate"
3. After that, go to "effects" > "distortion effects" > "pixelate"
4. Yay! now it's time to make your image pixelated. you should have a task menu like this popped up:

I chose a wdith of 11 and a height of 3. when you're done click "oK".
5. After yout have clicked "ok", you should get something like this:
Yucky isn't it? well now, go to your layers toolbar and modify the opacity.
Mine is at 74 and i set the blend mode to "overlay".
6. This is the final result. I spiced mine up a bit with brushes but you can still see the pixelated boxes. I think it gives a mine "tech" feel.
