Tutorial for Paintshop Pro: Making Tiles
Tutorial by: Paine of Triplexthreat
Difficulty: 2/10

Oops, i did it again! time for another PSP tutorial from Paine! Today we're going to make our images have tiles!

this is a very easy tutorial, as it was written for newbies to PSP

01 .Well what we first do is open up PSP and an image . I chose the lovely Ayumi Hamasaki.

02. Duplicate the layer

03. then what we do is go to Effects>Texture Effects>Tiles

03. You should get a menu like this:

Set it like this:

Tile setting to Square
Tile Angularity-0
Tile Size-9 [if you want bigger tiles then put in a bigger number]
Border Size-1
Smoothness- 0
Depth-1
Ambience-0
Shininess-0
Color- White [HEX CODE: #FFFFFF]
Angle-90 [but it doesn't really matter because they are squares]
Intensity-100
Elevation-90

Press ok and we're done.. just kidding.

04. So now go back to the layers toolbar and on your Copy of the layer [or the duplicate]-set the opacity to around the 30s.

05.Presto! you're done! Here's mine.

Of course you can customize it further like this:

I think you lower the opacity and use a brush-shaped eraser to erase some parts. You can lower the opacity of the eraser to make some parts look more faded than the other parts.
