Tutorial for: Adobe Photoshop 7 or CS
Tutorial By: xYunaxFantasiesx
Tutorial difficulty: 4/10

1. Open the image you want to do the effect on.

2. Layer>New>Layer. Make sure it's above your image.

3. Fill the new layer black (edit>fill>black)

4. Select the Polynogal Lasso tool

5. Now cut half of the black layer off. You can cut design sort of like this:

6. Now make a new layer again. Make sure it's on top of your two layer.

7. Go to edit>paste (Move it to the right so that it look symetrical) Like this:

8. Now edit the image in Imagready (file>edit in Imagready)

9. Make a new frame:

10. While the second frame is selected, select the left black part layer and move it all the way to the left so that you can't see it anymore.

11. Now select the right black part layer and do the same thing as you did on step 10 except now move it to the right.
Step 10 and 11 should look like this:

12. Now tween it:

13. Use these settings:

You don't have to use 20frames it just makes it goes slower.

14.Now repeat the steps 9 to 12 again only now hold ctrl and drag the black parts to the middle to close the door.

15. Optional: To add some effect to the doors click on the right-click on each black parts layer and go to blending options then add whatever you want. You can also change the opacity.

My Result:

you can also just copy the images on the slides as the door opens and just put them in reverse takes a little longer but itll close just right.

i cant figure out how to save this though and keep the animation?

^ You go to file>>save optimization as and GIF format. This will be in image format so all you have to do is upload it and send your friend the link or send the actual image through email.
