Thank you for contributing your time typing this Criss. Because I respect you, I have taken my time and read what you have written ^_^.

It is very inspiring. Sadly, I do not think I can be very optimistic. I wish I could be more like you, Mary Poppins. Actually, I did try to be optimistic for a while, but then that was during my friend`s major drama & break down. Since then, I have never been very positive.

my dad does the same thing your mom does. it seems like it's that way. american moms are the bullies while the asian dads are the bullies <_< everything he said used to bring me to tears but now i've realized that what he says can't control what i do. i can't let him control/ruin my life

My friend can relate to that. Her dad is a kung-fu master and says a lot of things that hurt her.

My parents aren`t really like that. Their nice sometimes but can never understand me. They expect me to be perfect, to someday make this family rich and be very proud of me. But I can`t be perfect. I`ve done many things other parents would be proud of, but I`m just not good enough for them. They never listen to what I have to say, and whenever I yell they hurt me. I can`t really imagine me being positive about that.

You don't want to be like me. I'm really very, very negative. I'm just trying so hard not to be. It's a really hard battle I've always stuggled with, and I'm still attempting to convince my mind to have an optimistic perspective. It's always easy until the worst happens....then, it isn't so easy to pretend like you're Mary Poppins anymore. But I'm trying, and that's more than most people can say.

I used to see everything negatively, but now I'm starting to see things in a more positive manner. I've learned that keeping a positive attitude is very important. It really is a prerequisite for future success. Thanks for writing this!
