Tutorial for Animation Shop: Blinkie
By: sweet serenity

Step 1
Make a new image

Step 2
Click on the text button:

& write any word with white. [I perfer fonts 04b24 (size 6) or Redensek (size 11)]
Step 3
Using the brush

and making it only 1 pixel, border the text with black like so:

(Note: Image was zoomed up)
Step 4
Copy & paste this one

and there should be 2 frames.
Step 5
Click on the "text" icon again and now only write the first letter so you have something like this:

Step 6
repeat step 4 & 5 until you reached the end of the text. Then just go to File --> Save As and you`re done.
