Getting people to read your xanga - Blogring.net

I posted this two months ago when I was having trouble with getting people to read my xanga, but now is no longer the case!

Thanks to everyone who answered. Anyways, I thought that I'd offer you some of the tips that I learned over the past two months to get more people to read your xanga:

-Join (quality) blogrings that suit your interests...not the meaningless ones that have thousands of members.
-Take advantage of the link plug on blogring's homepage and be sure to check some of the other blogs out.
-Visit the eprop exchange forum.
-Leave comments on random blogs, but no "random props" or anything like that.
-Put a link to your xanga on your forum signature.
-Create a button for your site and link to others.

But I think that the most important thing is to write good content...and include some lists and pictures.

umm...all you have to do is go around a prop people and if they like what they see then they will keep coming back..

Thanks. I do leave comments on other people's xanga but they usually don't write back to me. I guess I'll have to find some way to keep readers entertained...

Put a link in your siggy. I noticed after I did that, more then half my visitors come from this site.

make your own custom layouts. if they're good, people will come to your xanga... well lol that's how people came to mine one day.

There's no actual way to get people to read your comment. Most of the little people that still go Xanga are obsessed with eProps and just coment you asking you to "prop" 'em back.

join popluar blogrings, advertise it alot in ur sig, advertise it in ur sig in multiple sites, and prop randomly

when you 'prop' people don't go "pr0Pz hit meh BAcK" cause that's annoying as HELL and people will just ignore it. and probably people read it and don't leave comments, cause a lot of people do that to me. but advertise on your sig like people said, and just COMMENT random people. actually read their entry and give a nice comment.

what's with the popularity contest anyway?

go on other people's xangas & leave an intellegent comment. Not "random props. hit me back. l8er". Contribute to what they have to say. Compliment them on their layout. They'll come around, eventually.
